Spanish second division outfit have completed the signing of two Ghanaian players Kofi Nti Boakye and Tanko Mohammed, Ghanasoccernet can exclusively reveal.

The duo signed three-year contracts to join the Segunda Division club from local Premier League club Heart of Lions.

The two players have been signed to catapult the club to La Liga by next season.

The 21-year-old Mohammed has been noted as a striker with great power, strength and very good eye for goal.

He was Lions top goals scorer for last season and he is currently part of Ghana local Black Stars squad.

Boakye, the brother of Germany-based striker Isaac Boakye, is a left-sided midfielder who can also play in defence.

He has been a key player for Lions and also part of the local Black Stars team who are preparing for the African Nations Championship to be held in Sudan next year.

He joined Lions from Liberty Professionals where he impressed after just one season.

The two players were members of the Black Satellites, the Ghana U20 team that won the World Cup last year but were dropped before the full squad was named.

The number of Ghanaian players at Leganes has now risen to three as midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh is already part of the squad currently in pre-season in the Spanish town of Totana.

Mohammed made his debut for the club on Saturday as they thrashed Villarolebdo 4-0 in a pre-season friendly.
