German-born Ghanaian forward, Braydon Manu, made an impressive start for Dutch club PEC Zwolle by scoring in their pre-season friendly against Venezia.
Manu found the back of the net just two minutes into the game, giving the Eredivisie side an early lead in their final warm-up match.
However, the advantage was short-lived as Venezia's Christian Gytkjaer equalized 14 minutes later.
Nicholas Pierini secured the win for the Serie A team with a goal five minutes before the end.
Manu joined PEC Zwolle during the summer transfer window after his contract with German club SV Darmstadt expired at the end of June.
He is anticipated to play a significant role for the Dutch club in the upcoming season and could make his official league debut in the opener against FC Utrecht.
