Ghanaian striker Mahatma Otoo says he is happy with his performance in the just ended Turkish second-tier league.
The Balikerispor forward finished the season as the fifth highest scorer with 13 goals, helping the club to an eighth-place finish and missing the playoffs by just a point.
Mahatma Otoo joined the club from fellow lower-tier side Umranyispor and has performed creditably well and was a key player in the club's campaign.
He posted on Social Media thanking the club, fans and well-wishers for a great season.
"All too Soon the 2017/2018 Turkish Lig 1 has ended. I thank Almighty God for the gift of life, as well as the goodies it came with. His guidance and protection, coupled with the prayers from my numerous fans, both local and abroad, were just enough to enable me to contribute my quota towards the modest success of my club, BALIKESISPOR," he posted.
"In the process, I emerged the 5th top scorer of the competition with 13 goals, while we missed the play-off for the Super Lig by a whisker (a point). With the sky still being the limit, may I respectfully seek your permission to share excerpts of my top 5 Goals out of the 13 goals I scored this season. Glory to God indeed.
