Ghanaian midfielder Reuben Acquah on trial with Swedish giants Hammarby

Ghanaian midfielder Reuben Acquah is on trials at Swedish side Hammarby IF after being invited by the club.

The 21 year old, who impressed at Slovakian club Dunajska Streda this season played 31 times helping the club place third on the league table. The young who plays as a defensive midfielder can also play at the center of defense.

Sporting director of Hammarby IF Jesper Jansson confirmed the arrival of the Ghanaian.

"He's a player we've previously watched, but in the past season he has not had a lot of playing time because of various paper rolls. When there was an opportunity to see him in our environment, we were looking forward to invite him, "says Hammarby's sports director Jesper Jansson to the club's website.

The midfielder has last represented Dunajska Streda in Slovakia. He has previously played to Albanian KF Tirana and Belgian KV Mechelen.
