FRANCE
Both Ayew brothers played 90 minutes and both were also on target for Olympique Marseille in their 3-2 win over Montpellier, Dede opened the scoring and set up Jordan for Marseille’s second.
Elsewhere, Ishmael Yartey was once again only on the bench for Sochaux in their 1-0 win over Reims whilst Africa of Nations’ star, John Boye’s Rennes won 2-0 at Bastia with other South Africa 2013 participants, Rabiu Mohammed and Jonathan Mensah’s Evian TG drew 0-0 at leaders Lyon.

ITALY
Kevin Prince Boateng played all 90 minutes and set up Milan’s second goal in their 2-0 win over Bologna but Sulley Muntari was only on the bench in the match which finished as Ghana started the Nations’ Cup opener against DRC.
21 year old Isaac Coffie played the entire duration for Chievo Verona in their 1-1 draw with Parma for who Afriyie Acquah came on as an 80th minute substitute but Amidu Salifu was only on the bench for Catania in their 2-0 win at Genoa.

BELGIUM
In the clash of Ghanaians, Bernard Yao Kumordzi played all 90 minutes for Genk as they beat Albert Kudemor’s Sporting Chaleroi 3-1.
Abdul-Yajinu Iddi scored the third goal for Mechelen in their 3-2 win at Mons but the injured Daniel Opare remained absent for Standard Lierge.
Ibrahim Ayew played all 90 minutes whilst compatriot William Mensah was on the bench in Lierse’s 0-0 draw against Waasland .

In the second tier 1.Lig, Torric Jebrin came on in the 58th minute to power 1461 Trabzon to a 3-0 victory against Denizlispor which kept them in 3rd place, 3 points off the lead in the hunt for promotion but Karim Alhassan was not even on the bench for Adana Demirspor in their 0-1 home defeat by Boluspor.
