Ghana right back Harrison Afful modeled in the inaugural Columbus Crew jersey as part of the 25th anniversary of the Major League Soccer.
Columbus Crew were part of the teams to begin the MLS in 1996, and as part of bringing back memories for the Silver Jubilee celebrations, players posed in the old jersey.
Today April 13th also marks the day the Ohio based club made their MLS debut, thrashing DC United 4-0.
An own-goal from D.C. got Columbus on the board in the 18th minute before Brian McBride made it 2-0 before the first half's end. Later in the second half, Pete Marino scored his first of 11 goals in 1996 before McBride recorded his second of the night to cap off the 4-0 win.
The MLS is currently on hold due to the spread of the coronavirus.
