Agbenyenu Lumor is keen to follow Christian Atsu footsteps at FC Porto.
Ghanaian teen sensation Agbenyenu Lumor says he is keen to follow the foot-steps of Ghana star Christian Atsu at FC Porto.
Lumor, 18, is dubbed Messi just like how Christian Atsu started at the Estádio Do Dragão four years ago.
Due to his tender age, Lumor is limited to playing for FC Porto in the Uefa Youth Champions League and has been impressive.
“It feels great to play for a club like FC Porto which makes me very happy,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
Everton winger Christian Atsu arrived in the English Premier League from the Portuguese giants after excelling at the club after progressing through the youth ranks.
Atsu along with Enoch Ebo Andoh (another Ghanaian player) spent time at the Porto B before gatecrashing the first team squad and making earning himself attention which influenced Chelsea to sign him.
“It’s like I’m Atsu junior. That’s how they see me here,” he added.
I play on the right wing but depending on the game and what the coach wants to do, I can alternate.”
Lumor joined Porto from Ghanaian side UniStar Soccer Academy before the start of the current season.
