The rains begun at about 4am and has since left the Ashanti regional capital wet as it prepares to host the black stars for the first time since September 5, 2014.

With kick-off set at 15:00hrs GMT, the pitch for the second leg encounter will need some few more brush-ups at the 11th hour if the wet weather conditions remain unchanged.

The black Stars who paid a courtesy call on Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Monday afternoon were held to a frustrating goalless draw against the Les Coelecantes at Stade International Said Mohamed Cheikh de Mitsamiouli last Friday.

It can be recalled that Ghana struggled to secure a 1 – 1 draw against Uganda in the 2015 AFCON Qualifier which saw angry fans at the Baba Yara Stadium boo the members of the playing body for the abysmal display.
