Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Isaac Boateng will relish the opportunity to return to the club for a second stint.

Isaac Opeele Boateng joined Asante Kotoko in 2009 as assistant coach to Belgian Maurice Coorman and became substantive boss later in the year.

He led the Porcupine Warriors to win the Otumfour Cup but left the club in August 2009 to King Faisal Babies after rumours were riff that he will be sacked.

And almost six years after leaving the record Ghana premier league champions, he would love a return considering the opportunities current coach David Duncan is enjoying.

Duncan is the luckiest coach to take over Kotoko and every coach would love to be in his position,” the former Tema Youth FC coach said on Asempa FM.

Opeele Boateng believes David Duncan has enough squad to win the premier league, but if he fails in the first round, he wouldn’t mind taking over in the second round of the season.

“Now in the second round, they should let me buy six players including Paul Aidoo, Joseph Atto-Bissah, two of Tema Youth FC players and one more player and I will achieve success.

“I will use that opportunity to compliment my squad to destabilize the politicians in the team.

“I will be creating competition in the team with that, I must say Duncan is fortunate.” He said
