Ethiopian Premier League side Dedebit FC have secured the services of two Ghanaian players ahead of the start of the second round of their domestic league season.

The 2014 domestic league champions beefed up their playing squad with former Heart of Lions centre back John Kuffuor and compatriot Kyle Koffie.

Dedebit FC have been rocked by long-term injuries to their defensive set up all throughout the first round but the addition of the Ghanaian duo promises to alleviate their crooked defensive unit.

Kuffuor, who was tipped as a replacement to the departed Philip Boampong for Accra Hearts of Oak has been training with Debit since early February.

The robust centre-back was however barred from featuring for the Ethiopian side because no club was club was allowed to feature new players along the first round of the season.

Kuffour graced the Ghanaian domestic scene whiles with Kpando Hearts of Lions and came inches close to joining the Oak tree during the Ghanaian transfer window.

The veteran centre back is joined by midfielder Kyle Kofi in the books of the ambitious Ethiopian side ahead of the second round.

Elsewhere in the Ethiopian top flight, former Inter Allies midfielder Gabreil Ahmed continues to hijack headlines on weekly basis with Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (BKE).
