Ghana and Portland Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has been nominated for the save of the week after starring in his side’s 2-1 defeat against San Jose Earthquakes.
The Ghanaian international will be competing with Houston Dynamo goalkeeper Joe Willis who also saved a good header by FC Dallas Kellyn Acosta.
Against the San Jose Earthquakes, Portland Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey dove low to deny a hard long-range effort from Earthquakes striker Chris Wondolowski.
Kwarasey is yet to play for the Black Stars since the chaotic world Cup campaign in Brazil but is being rumored to have been included in the squad for the game against Mozambique.
