English Premier League side Chelsea have offered Ghanaian youngster Stanley Quarshie an opportunity to trial with the club's youth team.
Quarshie, who plays for Ghanaian football team VIM Academy, travelled to London to train with the youth team with hopes of securing a deal.
The left-footed centre-back is known for his agility and versatility, which gives him the edge at a very young age.
He becomes the latest Ghanaian to trial with the club after David Oduro, who recently signed for Barcelona from Accra Lions, Fatawu Ganiwu and Vincent Morbilla.
Chelsea have shown huge interest in the Ghanaian market in recent times following the success of players from the West African nation in the English Premier League.
Michael Essien, Baba Abdul Rahman and the late Christian Atsu are players from Ghana to have played for the Blues in the past.
