Stephen Appiah was in top form as Brescia picked up a 3-1 home victory over Perugia.
Robert Baggio scored the 200th goal of his Serie A career through a penalty. Brescia's Albanian striker Igli Tare scored two first-half headers, and although Perugia striker Fabrizio Miccoli pulled one back with just under half an hour remaining, Baggio's spot-kick two minutes from the end sealed three vital points for his side.

NETHERLANDS
No Ghanaian played this weekend. Mathew Amoah (Vitesse) didn't played, Kofi Mensah(NAC) don't have a first team place. Christian Atta Gyan is injured. Yakubu was not even on the bench. Eric Addo warmed-up in the match Ajax - PSV game, but never entered the field.

Diyarbakirspor edged out Elazigspor 1-0 in a match played in driving snow, Saffet Aky?z scoring the only goal of the game on 54 minutes, burying a rebound off goalkeeper Richard Kingston.
