Social media users have reacted to Isaac Dogboe's shocking loss to Mexico's Emmanuel Navarrete on Saturday, December 8, at the Madison Square Garden in the United States of America.
Dogboe did not only lose his WBO World super bantamweight belt but also suffered his first professional loss.
After 12 rounds of action, Judges Don Ackerman (116-112), Allen Nace (115-113) and Tony Paolillo (116-112) all scored Navarrete the winner.
The fight was Dogboe's second defence of the title since winning it from Jesse Magdaleno back in April and defending it against Hidenori Otake last August.
In the fight, Dogboe, failed to come to the party as the tall lanky Mexican controlled the action as he convinced the judges to score the bout in his favour.
After Dogboe's loss, some Ghanaians took to social media to express their candid opinions on the defeat.
Some were of the view that Dogboe's father, Paul Dogboe, 'overworked' his son by engaging him in too many boxing matches this year.
Others shared the view that he underestimated his opponent, leading to the shocking defeat.
