Assin Foso, (C/R) Oct. 4, GNA - Ghatel Ladies defied the home support of Assin Foso Betinson Ladies to beat them 2-0 in the Central Region Women's league played at Assin Foso. The visitors shot ahead in the fifth minute through their goal maker, Mary Baidoo. The home team returned the attack and came close to scoring in the 15th, 20th and 25th minutes but their forwards squandered the chances. Betinson Ladies continued to dominate affairs in the second half but their hope of levelling up matters were dashed when in the 65th minute Mary Baidoo was on hand again to increase her side's tally to two with a long range shot.
