Gideon Jung excels in Hamburg victory over Werder Bremen

Ghanaian youth midfielder Gideon Jung flourished on his Hamburg SV return as he lasted the entire period in the Dinosaurs's 2-1 victory over Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga on Friday.

Hamburg manager Bruno Labbadia restored the 21-year-old promising starlet to his starting position in midfield, and he excelled as they nicked the valuable three points.

Jung had struggled with back problems and was demoted to the Hamburg first team squad where he bid up his fitness.

The youngster has featured 19 times for Hamburg this season.
