Former Black Starlet attacker, Awudu Issaka, is asking Ghanaians to give Black Stars Coach, Kwesi Appiah, a second chance.
His comments comes after calls by some section of the public for Kwesi Appiah to step down.
This follows the shambolic performance of Ghana’s Black Stars at the just ended AFCON19 tournament in Egypt.
Awudu Issaka believes Kwesi Appiah has learnt his lessons and will come good in the next tournament.
Speaking to Saddick Adams on Atinka total sports, Awudu Issaka said, “Ghanaians are not happy about the coach and wants him gone, because he failed, but at the end of the day he is our own man, and if you look at the new proposal (Code of conduct) that will regulate the players behavior, it means he has learned from his mistakes, let forgive and give him another chance.”
The future of Coach Kwesi Appiah is still not clear, after over a month of Ghana’s elimination from the AFCON19.
