The Goalkeepers Union of Ghana (GUG) has donated an amount of cash to the daughter of late shot-stopper William Essu.
The Association donated GHC 5,200 to the young girl to settle her bills in school after the death of her father early this year.
A delegation led by Asante Kotoko goalkeeper trainer Najahu Issah, current captain of the club Frederick Asare and others donated the residence of the former Legon Cities goalie in Cape Coast on Saturday afternoon.
The cash was given to the parents of the late goalkeeper on behalf of the daughter.
He was part of the Black Galaxies team that represented Ghana during the Totalenergies CHAN tournament in Algeria and made the U-23 for Morocco in 2022.
The former Vision FC goalkeeper lost his life in a long-term illness.
