Golden Arms gets Henry’s Inn as official meal sponsor

The National Amwrestling Team, Golden Arms has sealed a mouth-watering deal with Dansoman-based Henry’s Inn Restaurant as their official meal sponsor the upcoming Africa Armwrestling Championship.

Henry’s Inn whose mission is to serve quality delicious meals in a conducive environment would provide lunch and dinner catering services for the national team before and during the championship.

The Africa Armwrestling Championship dubbed ‘ACCRA 2018’ would be held from Thursday, July 26, 2018 to Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the DG Hathramani Hall at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In an interview with www.armwrestlingghana.com, Team Manageress of Golden Arms, Mavis Amanor said she was pleased to have Henry’s Inn on board as the official meal sponsor of the team.

She thanked the management of the restaurant and assured them and Ghanaians of an excellent performance from the team to make the host and win dream a reality.

On his part, the manager of Henry’s Inn, Mr Henry Kyeremeh Ntow told the website that sporting the national team was an opportunity for him to contribute his quota to national development.

He described armwrestling as a traditional sport which is less expensive to play adding that he was proud to partner the Golden Arms to make their hope of conquering Africa come true.

The Golden Arms would soon move to camp at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Hostel preparation for the championship.

About 15 African countries with over 100 athletes are expected to assemble for what could be described as the biggest armwrestling event in the country and the continent as a whole.

Participating countries are; Benin, Cameroon, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Seychelles, Mauritius, Morocco, Mali, Nigeria, Togo, Madagascar, Uganda and host country Ghana.

The event is sponsored by K-Balm Ointment from Kofikrom Pharmacy, Go On Energy Drink from Twellium Industries Limited, Erata Hotel, Awards Center, I-Level Media, GAPTE and with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) and the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA).
