Normally I would not pick my weapon to write a missive to a colleague in the same fraternity with a heavy heart.

But I have grown to accept that posterity watches over all our activies and also I owe it as a duty to the sports loving people of Ghana to let them know nothing but the truth. Obviously the issue of a coach/manager for our FA has brought up some arguments ever since some of us challenged the status of the in-coming coach.

However my heart bleeds, profusely, that somebody in the same fraternity would devote his airtime, not to continue with our investigations, but to question my integrity as a journalist.

Journalism is not for those who have failed in their chosen fields of endeavour. It’s a quality and respected profession and as such the ethos of it has to be respected.

Mr Assibey, of happy fm, if you were a journalist, which you can’t be, you would have done your own search on this Barretto man, before mother Ghana is swindled again. Possibly it may be due to your inability to use the web properly.

People who have listened to you know how much lies you have preached in your reportage. If I were your employer, I would have scrapped your programme and asked that you get some formal journalistic training.

Have you cared to know when the FA sent the enquiry fax to the Portuguese FA? Have you cared to know, why Abedi, Ayew Pele decided not to get involved with the hiring of a coach for Ghana? Have you checked why Ghana as the pioneers of African football cannot follow the universally acceptable rout of hiring managers, and have you boarded to know why Ben Kwoffie has stayed on as FA boss even though he has messed up Ghana football big time?.
