Good news for Black Queens as trio have successful surgeries

Former Black Queens captain Florence Okoe and two players, Jemima Dussey and Leticia Zikpi are recovering after their successful surgeries in South Africa.

The Ghana Football Association sponsored the trio to South Africa last week to undergo surgeries on injuries they suffered on national team assignments.

Okoe had been suffering her injury for some time while Zikpi who acted in her absence also got injured some months ago.

Dussey, a member of the Maidens team also suffered a knee injury during one of their qualifiers and has been off the pitch for some months.

The trio are expected to arrive in Ghana next week where they will continue their recovery.
