Yonkers, NY -- On Sunday, May 13th, Gospel Outreach International Ministries (House of
Abundance) in Yonkers organized a special banquet on Mother's Day called;
Mother's Supper in honour of mothers worldwide.
Among the noted personalities were; Rev. Kissi Preprah, General Overseer and
his wife, Irene. In a brief address, Mrs Preprah preached on salvation and
the quotation was taken from John 14:1-7, - "that Jesus is the way, the
truth and the life and there's no other way we can pass to God except
through Jesus." She also mentioned that many are paying for life insurance
while they do various jobs but Jesus gives life insurance for free and his
life insuranc is eeverlasting. Mrs Preprah urged members to rededicate
their lives to Jesus.
There were live performances by many singers who were impressive. Among
them were the senior choir; CHOSEN GENERATION, junior choir, ROYAL PRIEST,
Mrs Angela Asante, Comfort and Pat, Gethsemane Asamoah (upcoming Gospel
sensation) and others.
In a closing remark , Rev. Kissi Preprah, General Overseer said the program
was beyond their expectation. He continued; "We all saw the glory of God,
God is taking the church to a higher ground and the church is moving on. The
word of God says; he's building the church and the gates of hell cannot
prevail against it".
