Ghana coach Avram Grant is not lost on the threat of Egypt winger Mohamed Salah ahead of their clash on Sunday, but like Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, the Israeli believes attention should be on the Pharaohs as a whole.

The Black Stars will be hosted by the North Africans on matchday two of the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers at the Borg El Arab Stadium.

Salah, who netted a hat-trick for club side Roma ahead of the international break, has eight goals in 12 Serie A appearances for the Wolves so far this season.

“I think all players are dangerous," Grant said at the pre-match presser on Saturday, as reported by KingFut.

"I have heard about what Salah is doing. He is the best player in the Italian league.

“Salah is a player that can create something dangerous. He is very quick.

“This is a very good generation. They have a lot of good players."

Ghana played out a scoreless stalemate with Uganda in their group opener last month, while Egypt, who won the Africa Cup of Nations on three successive occasions between 2006 and 2010, beat Congo 2-1 away.

“They [Egypt] had a good generation ten years ago, and are now coming back again.

"The past generation had some clever players that can play together as a team.

“We want to win to revive qualification hopes. A win for Egypt would put them in a good position."

Ghana currently sit third on the table, and a defeat will be a massive blow to their chances of playing at Russia 2018.

The Black Stars are chasing their fourth successive World Cup tournament after appearances at Germany 2006, South African 2010 and Brazil 2014.
