The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed that the head coach of the Black Stars Avram Grant will be back in the country before 11th May to continue his work.
Grant was granted permission by the Ghana FA to monitor some Ghanaian players in Europe but his permission was greeted with massive criticism by a section of the media claiming his tour is a rubber stamp.
But the Ghana FA Boss has disclosed that the former Chelsea Boss will not keep long as he did in his earlier visit but will return to continue his job on the local scene.
"Avram will return to Ghana before May 11. He will go to Japan with Chan team for friendly," Kwesi said.
“We await his return.”
Grant will be expected to lead the technical team of the Local Black Stars for a friendly game in Japan later in May.
He will also be available to provide pep-talks and share technical and tactical ideas with some of the coaches of the other national teams when he returns.
