Accra Great Olympics striker, Abel Manomey has started return to the football field after eight months off.
The bulky forward went under the knife after suffering an injury at training – he injured his right chin.
Manomey missed the remainder of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League campaign after starting impressively well in his debut premier league season.
The 26-year-old, who scored five goals last season, suffered the injury during preparations against Wa All Stars and went under the knife at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra after breaking his tibia and fibula bone in the right shin.
The return of the forward serves as good news for the beleaguered 1970 Ghana Premier League Champions who are battling for their top flight status in a legal tussle with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
