The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign has concluded, and, regrettably, for Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano, and Real Tamale United, their tenure in the Ghanaian top-flight has ended.

These teams finished at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League standings, ensuring their relegation to Ghana's Division One League.

They are expected to compete in the Division One League in the upcoming campaign, having failed to maintain their status in the top flight.

Several teams were battling against relegation going into the final day's games, including the powerhouse, Hearts of Oak.

However, the Phobians defeated Bechem United at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday afternoon to retain their league status.

The rainbow boys came from behind to snatch an all-important 3-2 win over the Hunters and survive relegation.

Heading into the final days, Bofoakwa Tano and Real Tamale United had already suffered relegation from the top flight following unimpressive performances.

Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics, and Karela United were all battling relegation on the final day, but the Phobians and Karela United prevailed, while Great Olympics finished in the relegation zone.

Olympics, former league champions, finished in 16th position with 44 points, while Bofoakwa Tano and RTU placed 17th and 18th, respectively.

Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano, and Real Tamale United will reflect on their performances, identify areas for improvement, and strive to make a quick return to the Ghanaian top flight.

Meanwhile, Young Apostles, Basake Holy Stars, and Vision FC are expected to feature in the Ghana Premier League next season after emerging victorious in their respective zones in the Division One League campaign.
