Great Olympics optimistic of surviving relegation with board room points

Accra Great Olympics are not done yet with the dramatic legal issues as they pursue more cases with optimism that they will survive relegation in the just ended Ghana Premier League.

The Wonder Club are looking to make a wonderful stay in the league as they remain confident that they will not be relegated from the Ghana Premier League next season, seeking to rely on board room points to survive.

The Dade Boys finished 14th on the Ghana Premier League table with 39 points and will join two other clubs, Tema Youth and Bolga All Stars, to the lower division next season pending sanctioning by Congress.

Despite having two of their recent cases before the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee dismissed, they are still confident of winning points from the board room to boost their survival in the top flight.

“We will stay in the top division,” a top official who wants to remain anonymous noted.

“We have two other cases before the Disciplinary Committee. We are very confident we will win the cases and will definitely survive,” he assured.

Olympics is the second club in the history of Ghana football to have suffered more relegation from the Ghana Premier League, with the first being B.A United who are struggling to locate their way back into the top flight.
