Accra Great Olympics striker Abel Manomey says he is not eyeing the top scorer award having impressed in his four games so far for the Club.
The attacker is joint top scorer with three goals together with the likes of Kotoko forward Yakubu Mohammed, Ashanti Gold midfielder Hans Kwofie, Bernard Arthur of Liberty Professionals and Seth Appiah Larbi of Berekum Chelsea.
Manomey was the lead man for the Teshie-based Club in the Division one League and seemed to be the reliable scorer for the Club in the Premier League this season.
The forward in an interview with Ghanasportsonline.com says he is not targeting the top scorer diadem.
“I am working hard and I hope I keep scoring for the Club, for me I just want to be scoring for my team and helping them to win,” he said.
“Am not targeting the top scorer award, if it comes then that will be fine but I just want to focus on how to help my Club.
“It is the Club first before anything else so my target is actually to help my team finish the League well.”
The player who have already won one man-of-them-match award will be hoping to maintain his consistent form in the Ghana Premier League.
