Greater Accra and three others advance to semis of Badminton

Accra, July 21, GNA - July 21, GNA - Host Greater Accra Region advanced to the semi-finals of the male category of the badminton competition of the ongoing National Unity Games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The host qualified alongside, Ashanti and Western Regions with the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS).


In the female division, Western, Greater Accra, Eastern and Ashanti Regions also made it to the semi-finals.

According to officials of the Ghana Badminton Federation (GBF), games for the semi finals of the competition will be played in the late hours of Thursday, with the finals fixed for Friday, July 22.
