The founder and bank-roller of Kumasi King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grusah has revealed that he is unconcerned about the GFA’S decision to play an 18-club League this season but his greatest expectation is to see his outfit returning to the top flight League.
The Kumasi-based Club was relegated to the lower tier two seasons ago after losing an ambitious protest to Aduana Stars who were accused of defaulting a fine charged on them by the GFA Disciplinary Committee.
The case was eventually sent to the Human Right Court by the arguable, the controversial football administrator Alhaji Grusah for fair judgment which the court is expected to come with the final judgment very soon on condition that King Faisal shall be included in the top flight League should they win the case.
Meanwhile, the GFA is planning to extend the Premier League clubs from 16 to 18 this season to halt the case between Tema Youth and Dreams FC but Alhaji Grusah insists he is not concerned about the number of clubs to play in the league but rather his concern is about how King Faisal will be promoted back to the Premier League.
In an interview with Asante Fokuo of Cape Coast -based ATL FM, the principled football administrator maintains that the GFA is being run by friends and cronies which he dosent want to comment on their decisions.
’’ I don’t care whether the GFA will play 18- club league or not but my focus is on how justice will prevail for King Faisal to come back into the Premier League’’. He told ATL FM of Cape Coast.
GFA is expected to hold their extraordinary congress ahead of the league season.
