Sunderland’s Asamoah Gyan says he is flattered to be linked with a move to Spurs. The Ghana international was said yesterday to be a target for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp who is believed to be interested in Gyan should Sunderland come in for Spurs striker Peter Crouch.
“Spurs are a fantastic club and any player would be flattered by their interest,” he told Sky Sports.
“So I am, but there is nothing I can do if Sunderland want to keep me,” he added.
