Gyan Leads All Time African Chart

Ghana's Asamoah Gyan has become the most highest African goal scorer in the history of the FIFA World Cup with six goals.

The Ghana captain was on equal wave length with Cameroon legend Roger Milla on five goals apiece but the Ghanaian goal poacher added one to his account today in their last Group G game against Portugal.

Born on the 22nd November 1985, the Al Ain striker made his international debut at the age of 17 when he came on for Isaac Boakye in the 62nd minute and scored in the 90th minute against Somalia in the 2006 World Cup qualifier on the 19th November, 2003 .

He went on to score three more goals in the qualifying campaign with the most crucial against Congo.

Asamoah Gyan scored Ghana's first ever go in the history of the FIFA World Cup against the Czech Republic in the Germany 2006 World Cup. His goal (68 sec) was the fastest in the tournament.
