Asamoah Gyan says Ghana's strong mentality can push them on after the Black Stars reached the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals.
Ghana advanced to the last eight after beating South Africa 2-1 last Tuesday.
The Stars fought from a 0-1 deficit to win through second half goals from John Boye and Andre Ayew and will meet Group D runners-up.
Gyan, appearing at his fifth Nations Cup campaign, believes Ghana qualified from a very tough group.
"I have played at five Cups of Nations, but this group was the hardest" Gyan said after the win over South Africa.
"We were very strong mentally, even after conceding the first goal.
"We kept believing and fought to the end knowing that we could win. With this team, we can take on anyone in this competition."
Ghana finished tops in the group, qualifying alongside Algeria.
