Asamoah Gyan could be fit just in time for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations after he was ruled out of action for three weeks.
The striker has been on a hot streak of form in Al Ain and hit double figures already this season.
But he picked up an injury last week Friday threatening to affect his participation in Ghana's campaign.
Now tests on the injury has given him three weeks to recover, leaving him just enough time to be ready for the opening game of Ghana's campaign which will be against Bostwana on January 24 in Franceville.
Gyan is fundamental to Ghana's campaign to win a first Nations Cup title in 30 years, with goal scoring strikers a rare breed in the Black Stars.
