Emmanuel Clottey linked with Zamalek

Ghana striker Emmanuel Clottey is on the wish list of Egyptian giants Zamalek, according to reports in the North African country.

Clottey has been a shadow of his former self after making the high-profile move from Berekum Chelsea to Tunisian side Esperance.


He is regarded as surplus to requirements by the Tunis-based side and reports in Egypt claim he could be signing for the White Knights.


The 2012 CAF Champions League top scorer is regarded as surplus to requirements at Tunisian side Esperance.

In January this year, UAE top-flight side Al Dhafra terminated his season-long loan deal after only six months at the club.


Clottey scored 12 goals to emerge top scorer for the 2012 CAF Champions League.
