Mankessim Proud United emerged the Champions in the Central Region Division II Middle League which ended at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast last Sunday.
They beat Adisadel Great Astronomers 3-1 on penalties in the finals of the tournament to qualify for Division One.
The other Twelve Division II Clubs which participated in the tournament included Cape Coast Venomous Vipers, Great Astronomers, Dawurampon Oswaka F/C, Soccer Intellectuals and Great Efutu Kingdy.
The rest were Kasoa Bagotec, Leo Ze F/C, Cape Coast Metro Stars, Cape Coast Strikers, Elmina Bafana and Nyanyano Proud United.
Mr. Matthew Doe, Chairman of Central Region Football Association who presented the trophy to the winners commended the participating clubs for their sportsmanship during the tournament.
