Accra, March 14, GNA - The 2010 Handball champion of champions will take place on Friday, March 18 at the Handball courts of the University of Ghana, Legon.
The event, which starts at 2 pm would see the league champions facing the knockout champions at which the trophies for the league winners will be presented with a seminar preceding the competition. In the Men's event, the knockout champions - Ghana Navy will square off against the league champions - Ghana Police while in the Women's category, the Ghana Police team, the knockout champions will meet Ghana Prisons, the league champions in an uncompromising encounter.
The Special Guests of Honour are the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof. Ernest Aryeetey and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Sports Council, Worlanyo Agra. The President of the Handball Association of Ghana, Kenneth Dzirasah and the Chief Sports Development Officer of the National Sports Council, Erasmus Adorkor will help present trophies to the winners.
