Hasaacas 3-0 Wa All Stars - Hasmal relegated despite emphatic win

Sekondi Hasaacas have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League despite beating champions Wa All Stars 3-0 at the Essipong Sports Stadium in Sekondi on Sunday.

Former Ghana U20 attacker Samuel Afful bagged a brace while Prince Papa-Arko added the third goal for Hasmal.

The Doo Boys went into the game languishing in the relegation zone and were hoping for a win while hoping for favourable results in Dormaa Ahenkro and Berekum.

But the results rather went in the way of Chelsea and Allies who beat the drop while Techiman City joined New Edubiase and the Doo Boys on the bus to the wilderness.
