Hasaacas white wash All Stars

Sekondi May 31, GNA - Sekondi Hasaacas on Saturday white washed visiting Wa All Stars 4-1 in their 22nd Week Onetouch Premier League match played at the Sekondi Stadium near Essipong. The two teams made frantic efforts after the kick-off but it was the visitors who showed greater determination as their combined beautifully by attacking the homw team from all sides.

While the two teams were warming into the game it was All Stars' Daniel Bomfah who was on target to tactically score the first goal in the ninth minute for his side to bring the stadium to a near standstill. The goal rather gingered up the Hasaacas lads who mounted series of attacks on the visitors but had to wait until the 17th minute before David Annas found the much needed equalized for his side. With the score-line at par, the two teams engaged in mid-attack with occasional forays up front but it was again Hasaacas who exerting greater pressure to end the first half.

On resumption from the recess, Hasaacas started attacking from all angel and this paid for them in the 48th minute, when Annas was again on target to find the net for his side. While on their attacking forays, Hasaacas earned a penalty in the 55th minute which Isaac Donkor beautifully converted for their third goal. All Stars did not give up hope as they kept with their counter- attacks but found it difficult to outclass the Hassacas defence. In the 71st minute, Frederick Quayson sealed the doom of the visitors with the fourth goal to give the new entrants one of their heaviest defeats in the premiership.
