Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC were held to a pulsating 1-1 stalemate by determined Division One League side Heart of Lions on Saturday at the Ajax Park in Accra.

A goal in each half saw the end to end clash end in a draw with Dreams FC missing some decent chances.

Striker Ibrahim Issah broke the virginity of the game with a stupendous finish after Michael Amoh drove in a sumptuous cross from the right side of the Lions defence.

Samuel Alarbi started the buildup with a swift inter-positional play with Amoh who turned his marker inside out to release the teasing cross for Issah to drive home the brilliant curler after controlling the ball comfortably.

The half ended with Dreams FC dominating play and missing some few chances which could have seen them increasing the tally.

Lions turned the heat on the Still Believe Boys after the break forcing Dreams center back David Salifu to unleash a wicked tackle to give the visitors a penalty.

Frank Akoto expertly converted the spot kick to draw level for Lions in a game that was highly competitive.

Lions after the goal tailored some brilliant passes together but failed to hit the back of the net.

Both teams used the exercise to shape their sides ahead of the upcoming Normalization Committee Special Competition which kicks off on February 6.

The draw comes exactly a week after Dreams FC lashed Ghana U20 side – The Black Satellites – by 3-0 at Sogakope.
