Tema, Feb. 3, GNA - Kpando Heart of Lions broke the unbeaten home record of new entrants, Tema Youth when they beat them 1-0 in their GT Onetouch Premi er League encounter at the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The visitors who hammered their opponents 4-2 in their first leg encounter at the Kpando Park in the first round, mounted pressure on Tema Youth but their attackers fumbled in front of goal to ensure massive win
Tema Youth gradually turned the heat on their opponents but also failed to find the net in the first session of the game. On resumption of the second half, the two teams exhausted their substitution as they played above themselves but it was Lions who were slightly on top and went ahead to net the only goal of the match in the 75th minute through substitute Osei Banahene.
Bruised Tema Youth threw everything into the game but tried as they did, they could not find the much needed equalizer till the end of full proceedings.
