Some supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak have called on the Chief Executive Officer of the club Mr Fred Crentsil to apologise to the supporters of the club or they advise themselves.

The group led by some leaders of Hearts’ Supporter-Group, the Chapters have cited comments made by the CEO on an Accra-based radio station, Radio Gold which he was alleged to have said he was begged to take up his current position.

“We want to believe that it this feeling of being begged to take up the position of the club that is making him not to deliver to the optimum,” one supporter said. “Look at what is happening in Chelsea (Brekum), Kotoko, Adubiase and the likes and compare it to that of Hearts and you will realise we are going back,” he added.

The supporter said they would not have anything to do with the club in terms of going to watch the clubs matches if the CEO does not apologise “Since Mr Crentsil took over as Chief Executive we have never been made happy; last year we came eighth and this year we ended the league in the fourth position but I don’t think that is where Hearts deserves to be,”, another angry fan added.

The fans who are all based in Nungua where Hearts of Oak commands a lot of support spoke to Finder Sports in separate interviews.

Last Friday, the position of the fans was re-echoed by Mr Kwame Agyepong (NCC PRO) and Palmer, another leader of the Chapters on Asempa’s sports morning show where they also demanded an apology from the CEO.
