......Enyimba Beat Them Again

A 1-0 defeat at the hands of Nigeria's sole continental title hope, Enyimba International FC, ended Accra Hearts of Oak's hopes of progress to the final four of this year?s CAF championship.

The match was heading for a goaless draw, when Loius Otanwa fired home just 25 seconds before the end of regulation time, after thousands of the team's supporters, who had thronged the stadium to cheer the team, were heading home in disappointment.

Uncontrollable Enyimba supporters, stripped nude, yet others danced away in joy to a melodious music dedicated to the team which blared from the stadium?s public address system.

The injury time goal kept Hearts with just a point in five games and the two-time African champions amassing seven points.

Ivorian side Asec hammered Orlando Pirates of South Africa 4-0 on Sunday to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Holders Ahly of Egypt became the first team to book a place in the Champions League semi-finals after holding on for a 2-1 win over CS Sfaxien of Tunisia in Cairo on Saturday.
Yesterday, Asante Kotoko kept their hopes alive when they beat Club JSK of Tunisia 2-1 yesterday at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi. Sfaxien need just one point from their last Group A match at home to Asante Kotoko of Ghana next Sunday.
