Accra Hearts of Oak have finalized negotiations on a business partnership with SOS Networx headed by former Kotoko chief executive, Herbert Mensah. SOS Networx therefore becomes management consultants of Hearts.
Under the deal, Mensah’s outfit will be responsible for technical appraisal and merchandising, among other duties.
According to JoyFM Sports there are likely to be changes in the technical setup of the club.
German coach, Ernst Middendorp seems the most probable candidate for a technical position in the team.
SOS Networx has already began discussions with Kits wear manufacturer, Puma, to kit the team in the new season.
Herbert Mensah has not been assigned any position in the club’s management, though by his position as head of SOS Networx he wields a lot of influence on the general administration of the club.
The Hearts-SOS Networx partnership has been a thorny subject lately with some Hearts supporters calling for the immediate conclusion of the deal in order to bring Herbert Mensah on board before the commencement of the Top Four competition.
