Administrative manager of Hearts of Oak Hackman Aidoo has called on the supporters of Asante Kotoko to exercise patience for their management following their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Reds were eliminated from this year's CAF second-tier club competition after losing 7-6 on penalties to Congolese side CARA Club - having finished both tie at 1-1 apiece on aggregate.

The defeat left a bad taste in the mouth of their management who have since acted swifly by sacking coach Steve Polack.

Several fans of the Porcupine Warriors faithful believe the problem lies within the corridors of their management rather than the coach, therefore are calling for their heads.

But Hackman Addo has jumped to the defence of their sworn rivals management by urging their fans to exercise patience.

"I believe the Asante Kotoko supporters should exercise patience for the team because not being able to qualify does not mean the team is not good.

"They should know that hard luck and the delay of the Ghana league or lack of league competition caused their early exit," Hackman told Aseda FM.

Meanwhile, Kotoko are reported to be on the verge of naming former Black Starlets coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin as Polack's replacement.
