Hearts defender dedicates win over WAFA To May 9 Victims

Hearts right back Fatau Mohammed has dedicated their win over WAFA to the to the May 9th victims.

Hearts defeated WAFA 2-1 at the Accra Stadium on Monday, the eve of the 16th anniversary of the May 9th Accra Sports Stadium disaster.

Fatau Mohammed whose impressive performance earned him the Nasco player of the Match dedicated the win to the departed souls.

“I will say it is part of life, every time accident do happened, and i believe this win over WAFA will wiped off their tears,” Mohammed said after the game.

“So i’m dedicating the win to the affected fans.”
