Accra Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson is urging Phobians to rally behind newly-appointed managing director of the club Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe.
Armstrong-Mortagbe, who is the group president of Krypton Global Limited, is taking over from Fred Crentsil, who joined the Ghana FA as vice president.
The Optimum Media Prime executive member who also doubles as a Fifa management and marketing consultant will now coordinate the affairs of the former continental champions.
Nelson said a lot of people applied for the job and in the wisdom of the board they have settled on Armstrong-Mortagbe.
“I knew Neil for a very long time in his days as a Chapter Five member and also NCC treasurer who has done well for this great club,” he told an Accra-based Hot FM.
“He is there to represent the club and as a person who has knowledge in marketing in my wisdom I hope he will market the club to the apex.”
“We have to give him the necessary support to help him achieve the goals and target of this great club.”
