The former King Faisal and Ashanti Gold SC gaffer says the Phobians outfit have assigned some Journalists to distract his team ahead of the upcoming league season.
Asante Kotoko coach Zdravko Lugarosic has claimed that Accra Hearts of Oak have deployed some media men to destroy his club's course in the upcoming 2016/17 Premiership season.
Reports surfaced recently that the 54-year-old Croatian tactician landed the top job at the Kumasi-based club with a fake CV - a report which was vehemently rejected by the outspoken coach by labelling it as something "totally nonsense" as it did not go down well with him.
Nevertheless, the tough-talking trainer has no doubt that this spurious information being put out by the media is the work of his club's sworn rivals in the local scene as they aim to distract him and his charges ahead of the new season.
"Some of the media men who fabricate false stories are fans of Hearts of Oak. They have been deployed across the length and breadth of the country to drag my name into mud thereby distracting my attention. They just want to destroy Kotoko and help Hearts of Oak in upcoming league campaign," he told Kumasi-based Light FM.
The 54-year-old loudmouth gaffer has been tasked to win all competitions for the Porcupines outfit in his two years contract.
