Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has refuted public perception that decisions in the club are taken solely by the Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV.
A section of the club's supporters have accused the Board Chairman of being the brain behind the the club’s woes, following the sack of Kim Grant who was the head coach and the technical director of the club.
But the former Ghana Football Association Chairman and board member of the club, in an interview with the Accra-based Asempa FM, said decisions made at the board level are collective and not only by Togbe Afede XIV.
“Hearts Of Oak board is not being run by an individual. We debate on issues for hours before decisions are taken"
“No individual forces his will on the other members of the Hearts of Oak board”
Hearts of Oak, under Togbi Afede XIV, have hired 20 technical handlers in nine years.
