Kwame Opare Addo, Public Relations Officer of Hearts has debunked claims that Corporate Affairs Manager of the club, Kwaku Sakyi was sacked over embezzlement of funds.
Report suggests that Kwaku Sakyi, who was appointed by the club last year June, has been relieved off his role as Corporate Affairs manager of the club after embezzling an amount of GH¢10,000 meant for the youth side Royal Oak.
However, the club's scribe has dismissed the report and insisted that Mr Sakyi resigned on his own accord to concentrate on other things.
"Kwaku Sakyi resigned wholeheartedly to concentrate on other things," Opare stated on Happy FM's Weekend Sports.
"He has returned the 10000 cedis to Hearts of Oak before he resigned."
Meanwhile, the club has had a difficult start to the season, having already lost four games in 11 matches.
The Ghana Premier League is however on a two-week break.
